Delete your Oa account or data

Oa is operated by Designbase. You can request deletion from the app or by email, including when you no longer have the app installed.

Request deletion by email

Email us from the address associated with your Oa account.
Tell us whether you want to delete your entire Oa account or specific records only. For specific records, identify the record type and date.
We will verify account ownership and explain the applicable deletion scope and scheduled deletion time before processing the request.

Do not email passwords, verification codes, identity documents, or child medical documents.

Open More → Account settings → Delete account, review the shared-family record options and retention notice, and submit the request.

Account deletion has a recovery period of 7 days (168 hours) from acceptance of the deletion request. Account information and records selected for deletion are retained during this period, then removed by automatic deletion jobs after the deadline.
Before the deadline, verify the same account and explicitly choose Cancel account deletion. Signing in alone does not cancel the request.
Deletion covers account authentication information, child profiles and care records selected for deletion, and associated photos managed by Oa. You can also request deletion of specific records without closing the account.
Other family members’ records are preserved. If another family member continues caring for the child, management is transferred. Shared records explicitly retained are shown without the departing member’s profile.
Offline devices, operating-system backups and copies held by other family members cannot be deleted remotely immediately. If any information must be retained by law, we will explain the data, reason and applicable period.
